GATHER:
An Open Source Standards-based Platform for
Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting
People and organizations in all sectors of development need the
right information at the right time to function efficiently and
effectively. We need evidence for decision making that is timely
and affordable. A great deal of money and human resources have been
invested toward this goal, but to date success has been hampered
by an inability to secure a steady flow of meaningful, high quality
data.

to be collected using a wide variety of devices – cell phone,
land line, PDA etc.
