Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (Focus on Low-Income Countries)
The RSTMH is a UK-based organization that aims to promote the
study, control, prevention and treatment of tropical
diseases. The website includes very little practical
healthcare information. Its online publication -
'Transactions' - is unfortunately not available free of
charge.

TDR for Research on Diseases of Poverty
TDR, a Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases, is an independent global program of scientific collaboration that helps coordinate, support and influence global efforts to combat a portfolio of major diseases of the poor and disadvantaged. The site contains extensive information about the organization that can be searched by topic or a keyword search engine. Established in 1975, TDR, is sponsored by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank and the World Health Organization (WHO).
