efforts, and training resources of the Center that is
committed to the prevention and control of traditional, new,
and re-emerging infectious diseases around the world. NCPDCID
collaborates with the Coordinating Center for Infectious
Diseases (CCID), CDC, and the agency’s national and
global partners.

The site hosts all of the latest, most pertinent information on neglected tropical diseases (NTD). It includes NTD background, the newest news, profiles for all of the initiative countries, reports, publications, and other NTD information. Targeted diseases include onchocerciasis, schistosomiasis, trachoma, lymphatic filariasis and soil transmitted helminthes. The Initiative is supported by USAID.

PPHSN is a voluntary network of countries/territories and
organisations for public health surveillance and response. It
focuses on six epidemic communicable diseases: dengue,
measles, influenza, leptospirosis, cholera, and typhoid. The
site describes the organization's activities particularly the
email listserv (PacNet), laboratory network (LabNet) and
response network (EpiNet).
