The site provides summaries of health related communication projects and studies. The material ranges from academic studies to grass roots projects. HCMN is an international network of professionals specializing in the development of health communication materials - pamphlets, posters, video, radios, training materials, electronic media, etc. The site includes a visual database of health communication materials. The Hesperian Foundation is a non-profit publisher committed to the promotion of the health of poor people around the world. It publishes books and other educational resources for community-based health care. The organization provides 1000s of free copies per year of its titles to health workers from developing countries on demand. MMC is an international resource for samples of pamphlets, posters, and videos designed to promote public health. Most of the information is free and some can be obtained online. TALC, non-profit organization based in the UK, is a major distributor of low cost health books, CD-ROMs and teaching equipment to resource poor countries.
