Basics is a USAID supported project that works at country level to improve child health. It provides technical leadership in policies and programming. The project focuses on four areas: child immunization, perinatal and neonatal health, nutrition, and community management of childhood illness. Child-to-Child Trust  (Focus on Low-Income Countries)
The Trust acts as a central core for health and education workers and programmes that encourage children and adolescents to take an active role in their health and development. The site contains information about the organization and participating groups, and its projects and training programs. CHILD2015: Child Healthcare Information and Learning Discussion Group  (Focus on Low-Income Countries)
CHILD2015 is a global email discussion group on the information and learning needs of child health workers in developing countries. The main focus is at the local level: households and communities, primary health workers, and health professionals working in district hospital facilities. CHILD2015 is open to anyone with an interest in improving child healthcare in developing countries and membership is free. Individuals can join by sending an email to CHILD2015-admin@dgroups.org with your name, organization, and a brief description of your professional interests. A UK based ngo, CAI works to alleviate the suffering of mothers and children in countries where there is extreme poverty, armed conflict or other disasters. The organization’s projects emphasize ‘hands on’ maternal and child friendly healthcare in hospitals and primary healthcare settings. Facts for Life  (Focus on Low-Income Countries) (French,  Spanish)
'Facts for Life' presents, in simple language, authoritative information about practical, effective and low-cost ways to protect children's lives and health. The 2002 Internet edition contains summaries of the subject chapters and has new sections on HIV/AIDS, emergencies and accidents. It is available in English, French and Spanish. It presents up-to-date clinical guidelines, prepared by experts, for both inpatient and outpatient care in small hospitals where basic laboratory facilities and essential drugs and inexpensive medicines are available.
