The Fondation du Present, Geneva, brings together a multisectoral community of over 10,000 members - more than half of them in developing countries - to raise and jointly address health-related issues, particularly HIV/AIDS. The website hosts several email lists, including INT-AIDS (Global advocacy and information)., Media-AIDS (for journalists, publishers, and authors), AF-AIDS (AIDS in Anglophone subSaharan Africa), SAFCO (AIDS in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa), SEA-AIDS (South East Asia/Pacific), and Treatment Access (issues about access to essential medication and treatment). http://www.fdp.org/forums.html


HealthNet News-AIDS  (Focus on Low-Income Countries)
SatelLife fn containing current and reliable news on both the public and clinical aspects of HIV/AIDS. Abstracts and full-text articles are taken from leading peer-reviewed medical journals and respected international health organizations. Newsletters are free-of-charge and are sent out via email. Due to contractual obligations with journal publishers, permission to receive HealthNet News-AIDS will only be granted to developing country residents. Program for the Collaboration Against AIDS and Related Epidemics (PRoCAARE) (Focus on Low-Income Countries)
Operating since 1996, PRoCAARE is an HIV/AIDS email discussion forum for clinical and public health practitioners from developing and industrialized countries. It is comprised of multiple "electronic conferences" that are moderated and topical based. The site contains information on how to subscribe plus archives of the previous conferences. It is maintained by SatelLife (a U.S. non-governmental organization) and the Harvard AIDS Institute, Harvard University, U.S. http://www.procaare.org/


ProNut-HIV  (Focus on Low-Income Countries)
The site is the archive of an email discussion list that aims to share up-to-date information, knowledge and experiences on nutrition and HIV/AIDS in developing countries. It includes instructions on how to join the discussion group and a keyword search engine.
